Actor Ajay Devgn began shooting for his home production, Son of Sardar, in Patiala on Saturday. Interestingly, the title was earlier registered with Akshay Kumar for his own production, but Ajay requested Akshay for the title and Akki relented.

The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt and the two will join Ajay in Punjab early next month. “Son of Sardar, starts now ... looking forward to a great outdoor schedule, packed with some

Patiala ... here I come!,” Sonakshi tweeted recently.

Ajay is staying tight-lipped about the film for now and is being extra cautious about his home production. Ajay did the recce of the place for shooting and is reportedly taking a keen interest in creative decisions. “The unit is likely to camp in Patiala and other areas of Punjab for more than a month,” says a source from the film’s unit.
