All for fitness: Sidharth Malhotra takes his workout outside the gym

The Kapoor & Sons actor Sidharth Malhotra is taking his workouts outside the gym, and has already started exercising in an aqua gym.

With the summer almost upon us, Sidharth Malhotra is stepping out of the gym to change up his workout regimen. The actor says, “I am going to ensure I utilise all the free time I have to stay fit and indulge in outdoor activities. I have already told my trainer to take my workouts outdoors and kill the monotony.”

He adds, “We recently indulged in an aqua gym, which was great.” The actor, who recently completed shooting for his next film, Reload, will soon begin shooting for his next film, Ittefaq, with a 50-day non-stop schedule.

Besides revamping his workouts, Sidharth has been visiting outdoor events, riding horses and was even seen playing a game of soccer with underprivileged kids at an event. A source says, “He had a fun time befriending the horses with his co-star, Jacqueline Fernandez, and had a fun ride.

Sidharth seems to have found the best way to unwind during his days off. He feels grown-ups and kids should indulge in outdoor activities, and wants to encourage kids to go out and play. He is going to work towards that.”

Speaking about the importance of outdoor activities, Sidharth says, “It is highly important for kids and adults to engage in outdoor activities and have a balanced lifestyle. In today’s day and age, we have become such technology and gadget fanatics that we often forget to reconnect with nature. It is essential to make outdoor exercises a part of your lifestyle. I am working towards inculcating the same this year.”
