Amitabh Bachchan lends his voice for Ajit Sinha’s film for free

Amitabh Bachchan is known as much for his humility as he is for his professionalism. HT Café has found out that the senior actor recently went out of his way to help someone he has worked with in the past.

Ajit Sinha, who has worked as an associate director on Bollywood films such as Khiladi (1992) and Baazigar (1993), is making his directorial debut with a movie that addresses social issues.

He requested Bachchan to lend his voice for a crucial part in the movie. “When we approached Mr Bachchan, he immediately agreed to lend his voice. He also refused to charge for it,” says Ajit.

“Mr Bachchan never shies away from lending his support [to a project]. We have known each other for the past 15 years. There is no bigger blessing than to have a voice-over done by him in my debut film,” he adds.
