Says Gupte, “I’m very lucky to have two magical performers. They are ably supported by an ensemble cast that is equally talented.”
Like most other makers of children’s films, Gupte too had to struggle to get producers to back his project. However, an international studio, which also distributed his last film, will now produce the film.
When contacted, Vijay Singh, on behalf of the production house, confirms this development and says, “We have tremendous faith in Amole’s vision. While he was narrating the story to us, we were transported into his magical, but real world. The emotions overwhelmed us, and we knew that we must back this very special film.”
Hawaa Hawaai is set to hit theatres on April 18, 2014.
