Director Rohit Shetty is now following the trend and has launched an online game application called Angry Devgn for his upcoming comic caper, Bol Bachchan. This is a Bol Bachchan version of the extremely popular game, Angry Birds.

So while the original is based on the animosity between birds and pigs, Angry Devgn has an animated version of the lead actor, Ajay Devgn, that matches his look in the movie. The animated Devgn throws a

(mace) at the other characters from the movie, including Abhishek Bachchan and Krushna Abhishek.

Reportedly, the game has become an instant rage on the Internet, and is played avidly on Google Chrome and Facebook. “The idea of making a game on the lines of Angry Birds immediately got the thumbs-up from our entire team,” reveals Rohit. “Both Ajay and I are huge Angry Birds fans and we knew that creating Angry Devgn would get us a lot of buzz and take the marketing of the movie to the next level.”

The application has been designed by the Bol Bachchan creative team and has been getting postitive feedback. The director adds, “With the social media becoming really big platforms for promotional campaigns, one can expect newer and more interesting ideas with each and every movie.”
