Anjana in a language crisis

More than half of the crew of Ram Gopal Verma’s upcoming film, Department, converse in Telugu, so even their sets have more of a Tollywood film-like ambience than a Bollywood one.

Recently, during the shoot of one of the scenes, Verma asked the film’s leading lady, Anjana Sukhani to romance her co-star Rana Daggubati.



Sukhani, a non-Telugu, thought she is supposed to scold Daggubati. The crew was in splits of laughter and thereafter Anjana has started taking lessons in Telugu so that she can understand her director and co-star better. In fact, during breaks, she even takes lessons from her spot boy.
