Lee’s Life Of Pi, based on Canadian author Yann Martel’s Booker Prize winning eponymous novel, has a strong India connect. It follows the journey of an Indian boy from Pondicherry who survives 227 days after a shipwreck drifting in a boat in the Pacific Ocean with a tiger.
