Anupam Kher, Kiron Kher to pair up on-screen

Anupam and Kirron Kher have always shared a striking chemistry off-screen. The actors, who have been husband and wife for 28 years, will be seen together on the silver screen for the first time.

We’ve been informed that the veteran actors are soon going to play a married couple in their forthcoming film, Total Siyapaa. A source close to the project reveals, “Both are known for their powerful performances. It will be a treat to watch these talented actors share screen space for the first time.”

The film, which is directed by Eeshwar Niwas, has Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam essaying the lead characters. The source adds, “The film was earlier titled Aman Ki Asha. However, the makers felt that it was communicating a different kind of a message and not what they had in mind. The plot is supposed to be fun and the title literally means ‘total chaos’. Also, the makers wanted Anupam and Kirron to be a part of the project and when the script was narrated to them, they liked it.”

When contacted, Neeraj Pandey, who is producing the film, says, “Anupam and Kirron are playing husband and wife for the first time on the silver screen. They play an over-the-top Punjabi couple. It’s going to be wonderful to watch them together.”
