On the personal front, the actor tied the knot with boyfriend, cricketer Virat Kohli in December. The two share adorable posts and pictures on social media about each other. As a couple, the two have a huge fan following, who have even given them the moniker, Virushka.

The two were recently in news when Anushka was invited by the High Commisioner and the actor posed with husband Virat and his team for a picture. This picture went viral and fans on Twitter trolled the actor. They wondered if Anushka too had joined the cricket team as none of the other players’ wife posed for the picture. Fans called out the High Commision for being hyprocritic as reportedly, BCCI had told the players they shouldn’t be distracted by their wives and girlfriends.
