After wowing the audience with her acting skills, Priyanka Chopra is gearing to rock the stage with her debut music album. The actress has signed a record deal with Universal Music Group.

As the news spread, B-towns celebs are congratulating the actor on Twitter. SRK tweeted: "congratulations @priyankachopra for the music thingy u r doing. from being the little girl who became miss world & made us so proud, go & rule the music world.

Farhan Akhtar also tweeted saying, "@ Congratulations Priyanka! All i can say is... FINALLY!!! Love"

Director Kunal Kohli, who is directing the actress in his yet-untitled project, was equally excited about the news, "Isn't the news about @priyankachopra 's music deal just superb ! PC you're already a rock star for us!"
