Beyond Padmavati posters, Deepika Padukone’s ‘leaked’ pics are redefining royal

Deepika Padukone pictures, rumoured to be from her upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Padmavati, are going viral online.

Even as the makers of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati released the first look of Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh from the period drama, the internet is abuzz with pictures of Deepika Padukone, rumoured to be leaked from the film. Deepika plays the titular role in the film while Shahid plays her husband Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh essays the role of Alauddin Khilji.

Two images of Deepika are going viral online, and are rumoured to be leaked from Padmavati sets - in both, Deepika dons a look similar to her official poster from the film. While one of the photos closely resembles her attire, jewellery and the unibrow as we saw in the poster, the other seems slightly different with lighter complexion and different background lighting. The second picture maybe one from her recent photoshoot for a jewellery brand.

When contacted, representatives of the film refused to comment whether or not these pictures are from Padmavati.

Padmavati is jointly produced by Bhansali Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Deepika and Ranveer have earlier worked together with Bhansali in Bajirao Mastani (2015). The film is set for a theatrical release on December 1.
