Birthday girl Richa Chadha: It’s been a good year with many small risks which paid off

Actor Richa Chadha, who turns 31 today, has some interesting plans in store for the coming year.

Actor Richa Chadha has no qualms about not getting a day off on her birthday today. The actor, who is ringing in the day with the cast of her recent release, Fukrey Returns, says that a working birthday is actually a good thing for her. “ If I get work on my birthday, I treat it as a good sign. Today, I don’t have big plans but we have to shoot some Christmas promotional stuff for Fukrey, which is a good way to spend my birthday because I will be with my team and my Fukrey boys. All four of them (Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma ) are going to be there today,” says Richa, who turns 31.

About the year gone by, she says, “ I think 2017 has been good. We finished shooting Fukrey and then I was travelling abroad for my foreign projects. We also had Inside Edge and we got amazing success in that area. Earlier this year my first production came out. It has been a good year with many small risks which paid off and there was commercial success too,” she says.

However, it is the coming year that Richa is kicked about.

“I have some writing commitments which need to finish, one is my script and another is a book which I am writing. Finally after 25th and 26th, I will take a break and go out and travel. In Mumbai, I don’t get peace to write. Slowly I have to budget time. I don’t have any material goals but I do have personal goals which I need to tick off,” says Richa, who is dating actor Ali Fazal.

Any plans for a special evening with the special man in her life?

“He has some more shoots to wind up, so if he manages to finishes it all in time, I am sure he will take me out for dinner,” says Richa, who has been seeing Ali for over a year now.
