In spite of hurting themselves and sustaining major injuries, Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar, like true-blue heroes, sprung back into action so that their film schedules wouldn’t be disturbed.
Keeping in mind the production costs and dates of fellow actors, these actors continued shooting despite injuries, reporting to sets in no time. While Dutt, Roshan and Kumar hurt themselves while shooting dangerous action sequences for their films, Khan hurt himself while holidaying in Dubai earlier this month.
Shooting for: Rowdy Rathore
The actor injured his shoulder while shooting the action-packed pre-climax scene for Rowdy Rathore, also starring Sonakshi Sinha. The scene was being shot at a construction site in Mumbai, and the actor was in deep pain after hurting himself. Akki rushed to see a specialist in Germany and flew back in time for the next schedule of the film as he knew that director Prabhu Deva was keen for the shoot to start as per schedule.

Shooting for: Yash Raj’s untitled venture
SRK hurt his ribs while playing a game of soccer in Dubai with his children Aryan and Suhana on a new year holiday. The actor tweeted about his injury but within a few days, he was back shooting for Yash Raj’s film with Katrina Kaif.
Shooting for: Krissh 3
Roshan had suffered a major injury while shooting his upcoming film Agneepath, and recently got hurt again when he fell down while filming for Krissh 3. The film’s director and his father Rakesh Roshan suggested that they do the film in 2013 but Hrithik insisted on being on schedule. “Everyone’s dates were booked. So we had to start and I get to get into right shape,” he said.
Shooting for: Zila Ghaziabad
The actor got injured while shooting for Vinod Bachchan’s Zila Ghaziabad. In the scene, he was required to jump from the ground onto a jeep using cables, and then flip back to the ground. While jumping up, the cables that held the actor spun him around unexpectedly, resulting in a bad injury to his arm. However, the actor continued shooting.
“Any other actor would have packed up for the day but Sanju continued without a fuss. It saved a lot of time and production costs,” says Bachchan.
