Boney and Arjun Kapoor
Arjun Kapoor is all set to team up with his producer father Boney on two projects - remake of the Mahesh Babu starrer south film Okkadu (2003) and Mr. India 2. When we recently asked him about working with his father, Arjun said, "I don’t want to say anything at this point as he’s making a film after long and it’s his right to talk about it when he’s put everything into place. I’m going to be an asset to him instead of being an industry kid he has to launch. Hopefully, once these films release and make the business they do, I’ll be happy to be by his side as an actor who is a saleable commodity. I’m quite excited about it."
Sunny and Karan Deol
The Sunny Deol-starrer Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 saw the entry of his son, Karan, as an assistant director in Bollywood. And while the Deols insist they will be the one to give Karan his much-awaited break, they’d still like him to get used to the tricks of the trade in advance. In an earlier interview, Sunny even said, "We are going to launch him soon, so we want him to be comfortable before that."
Rishi and Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor, too, will team up with dad Rishi in his next, Besharam. In fact, he will even have his mom, Neetu Singh for company in the film. He was recently reported saying, "My father has always been extremely hardworking and ambitious, and I have imbibed those qualities from him. Working with my parents was a great combination of work and holiday; we got to spend quality time together. When it comes to my father, I don’t like to miss any opportunity to spend time with him."
Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan
Hrithi Roshan is all set to showcase his fourth release with his dad Rakesh, this year. In fact, he recently even said that working in Krrish 3 is like coming home for him. He said, “I get to create and work with my dad, who is an absolute inspiration and such a gifted filmmaker. Working with my father under his guidance and directorship once more was a dream come true.”
David and Varun Dhawan
Varun Dhawan, who will soon begin work with his father David on Main Tera Hero, says that this time he’s looking forward to a very professional relationship. He says, “I want to work with David Dhawan the director. I’ve had him as my dad all my life, but this time it will purely be a professional relationship. He has done so many films and I’m just one film old, so for me, this will be a great opportunity to observe him and learn.”
