Stone

USP: Touted as an acting face off between De Niro and Norton

The American

Budget: Filmed in Sweden and Italy at a budget of $20 million
What’s the buzz: It has been compared to The Bourne series.

Playing it safe
Until Wednesday, there were 20 films lined up for a release, but three films - UTV’s Paan Singh Tomar, Anjum Rizvi’s Flat and Rahat Kazmi’s Impatient Vivek — have decided to delay their release to November. “Because of the Ayodhya verdict, a few films were postponed, and now there are too many films lined up, and there is just too much clutter. There are six films in a single week! We thought it was better to postpone our release and be safe rather than sorry,” says Rizvi.
