Deepika Padukone is doing well to bust the myth that two actresses can’t be friends. She recently praised Priyanka Chopra publicly, putting to rest rumours of insecurity and tension between them to rest.

The problem was supposed to have stemmed from the fact that Priyanka features in an item number in Deepika’s upcoming film, Ram-Leela. On Wednesday (October 23), the latter was high on praise for Priyanka’s dance performance in the song.

What’s more, Deepika even took to a micro-blogging website to praise her. She tweeted, “@priyankachopra you look beautiful... thank you for doing #RamChaheLeela (sic).” To which Priyanka repllied, “@deepikapadukone I'm glad I could babe.. Can't wait to see the film (sic).”

Deepika was recently heard telling some friends about how much she likes Priyanka’s song in the film. The actors are known to have become good friends after they got along well at an awards ceremony recently.
