He had launched Imran in the 2008 movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which was a huge box office hit. And though the 28-year-old is yet to deliver a hit film since then, Aamir thinks that will change. “I agree that after Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Imran has not delivered big hits. He has had moderate success. In the beginning of your career, you do make mistakes. The journey of an actor is a learning process. If this film (Delhi Belly) does well, it will help him,” Aamir told reporters while unveiling the film’s first look.

“But he (Imran) has a lot of potential and is always hungry to learn new things. For this film, he had insisted on doing a screen test. That indicates he is aware of what he should be doing.”

Directed by Abhinay Deo, the ‘A’ certified movie revolves around three young men living together in a bachelor’s pad in Delhi. Shedding his chocolate boy image, Imran has shot the steamiest scene of his three-year career for the film, which also stars Kunal Roy Kapoor, Poorna Jagannathan, Vir Das and Shenaz Treasurywala.
