Diljit Dosanjh hired Ranbir Kapoor’s trainer to transform his look

The Punjabi star needed to transform his look for his next, and has reached out to the actor’s trainer to achieve it.

Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh is set to make his Bollywood debut soon with Udta Punjab. But apart from this Bollywood project, the actor will also be seen in a Punjabi film. And to help him achieve a certain look required for the project, he hired Ranbir Kapoor’s trainer.

An insider says, “The first film in the series became the highest-grossing Punjabi movie till date. Known for his boy-next-door looks, Diljit needed to achieve a ripped body for the sequel. He reached out to Ranbir’s trainer, Pradeep Bhatia, who then trained Diljit to achieve the look. He spent six months training Diljit to get a well-sculpted body. The transformation has been amazing, and can be in his next.”

When contacted, Diljit says it took a lot of hard work to train to get the physique that was required for the movie. “I would train for hours daily because we had a deadline to meet. It was very intense training. I trained under Pradeep, who is known to have trained some great actors in the past. I’m glad that the hard work and the gruesome hours have paid off, and that people have liked the new look.”
