Actor Ranveer Singh is revelling in his latest screen act, and says it is getting him a lot of attention these days not just from the opposite sex, but his own too. “A lot of girls are sending me messages ... some very explicit ones also. Even men are asking me how to build a body like that. And yes, some men are also hitting on me!” says the 28-year-old, talking of his appearance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.

“I think that’s because in the Ang Laga De song, I am wearing that white dhoti too low,” he explains. Asked if all the sudden attention takes him to cloud nine, he says, “More than elated, I am relieved that all the hard work that went into the movie has been duly recognised. Ram-Leela was emotionally and physically very draining. So I am relieved that it has been so well-received.”

Ranveer is thankful to the film for one more reason. “Now the attention of people has shifted from my personal life to my professional life. The shift started with Lootera but after this film, it’s nice to see that the shift has happened completely.” So has he become more politically correct after the infamous ‘loveria’ interview about his rumoured relationship with co-star Deepika Padukone? “Not politically correct, but tactful? Yes. I have understood that I need to be more tactful,” says Ranveer.
