Exes Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif to reunite for Sanjay Dutt biopic?

Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif might star in actor Sanjay Dutt’s biopic.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play the lead in the Sanjay Dutt biopic and now rumours are rife that Kapoor’s ex-girlfriend, actor Katrina Kaif has been approached to play the female lead in the film. According to entertainment portal Pinkvilla, Sanjay Dutt is keen to have Kaif play his wife Maanyata Dutt on screen. Kaif has already read the script but has not given an answer.

Kaif and Kapoor parted ways in January and will soon be seen in filmmaker Anurag Basu’s next film Jagga Jasoos.

There were also rumours that Salman Khan would be making a cameo in the film, to which Sanjay said: “I dont know about this as I have not heard the script. But I would definitely love to have Salman in a cameo.”

Currently, the film is in the scripting stage; it is being written by direcor Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi. The duo started visiting Sanjay while he was serving his prison sentence to learn more about his life. But what took them the most amount of time was writing the section about the actor’s reported drug addiction.
