Farhan Akhtar's company files complaint against Saif Ali Khan

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's company, which is producing a Reema Kagti film meant to star actor Saif Ali Khan earlier, has filed a complaint against Saif with the Association of Motion Pictures And Television Program Producers

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's company, which is producing a Reema Kagti film meant to star actor Saif Ali Khan earlier, has filed a complaint against Saif with the Association of Motion Pictures And Television Program Producers. Reason — they claim he has not returned the signing amount after having backed out. "Saif was given `2crore, which he hasn't returned. Hence, the complaint," says a trade insider.

Buzz is that the association is trying to solve the issue amicably.

Farhan's company Excel Entertainment gave Saif a new lease of life at the box office with 2001 film Dil Chahta Hai. Saif went on to become one of the most desirable heroes for producers after this film.

The producers haven't finalised the film's leading lady yet.

Saif, Farhan and Riteish were not available for comment.
