Fawad Khan was not keen on working with the Sonam after Khoobsurat, but the 33-year-old actor later claimed that he quit Battle for Bittora due to date issues, reported the Express Tribune. The film is based on Anuja Chauhan's book by the same name.

The Pakistani actor said that the Dolly Ki Doli star was busy in her projects, while her sister was working on another project called Saat Hindustani and even he got involved with some work. Produced under the banner of Anil Kapoor's film, the movie is directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
