Farooq Shaikh meets the Chashme Baddoor cast

Recently the cast of Chashme Baddoor — Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Divyendu and Taapsee were in a suburban hotel along with their Director David Dhawan sipping some coffee and discussing about the film’s music launch.

Post the coffee, when the stars were leaving the hotel, they suddenly bumped into actor Farooq Shaikh. Interestingly, Farooq was one of the lead actors in the iconic film Chashme Buddoor (1981), which has now been remade by David Dhawan three decades later.

“David and Farooq, who have been friends, greeted each other and the former introduced Ali, Siddharth and Divyendu to him. Farooq seemed delighted and was seen exchanging pleasantries and wishing the youngsters all the best for the film,” said a source present there. On hearing that Ali has reprised his role from the original film, Farooq gave him his good wishes and blessings,” added the source.
