Firangi song Sajna Sohne Jiha: Kapil Sharma falls in love with Ishita Dutta

Kapil Sharma has shared the second song from Firangi. Sajna Sohne Jiha is sung entirely in Punjabi and features the lead characters in love.

Kapil Sharma shared the second song from his upcoming film, Firangi, on Thursday. Titled, Sajna Sohne Jiha, the song shows Kapil’s character fall in love with the village belle, played by Ishita Dutta.

The song is set against the backdrop of a wedding in a Punjabi pind. The lead characters’ eyes meet and it’s love at first sight. He is smitten by her beauty while she blushes at his reactions.

Singer Jyoti Nooran gives his voice to the song, sung entirely in Punjabi. It tells of falling in love and the feelings it brings with it, with a beautiful melody.

Apart from Drishyam star Ishita, Firangi also stars Monica Gill, Edward Sonnenblick, Kumud Kumar Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, Jameel Rahman Khan, Inaamulhaq, Aanjjan Srivastav and Vishal O Sharma and is directed by Rajiev Dhingra. The story is about Monga (played by Kapil Sharma) who unlike everyone in his village, believes the British are good people and mean no harm to the villagers. However, a turn of events prove him wrong and Monga turns against the foreign rulers.

The film releases on November 24.
