First look posters of Paltan reveal the characters of Arjun Rampal and Sonu Sood

JP Dutta is returning to his favourite genre, war films, with Paltan. The film has a bevy of actors.

The first look posters of upcoming Bollywood war film Paltan was unveiled on Tuesday. Film Critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and treated fans with the poster. He posted the looks of the characters played by Sonu Sood, Arjun Rampal, Harshvardhan Rane, Siddhanth Kapoor, Luv Sinha and well-known TV actor Gurmeet Chaudhary. He tweeted, “Presenting the principal characters of #Paltan... Directed by JP Dutta... 7 Sept 2018 release... #JoinThePaltan”

Paltan, which is based on the 1967 Nathu La military clash that took place along the Sikkim border, portrays an untold story of the Indian forces facing in an intense battle to thwart a Chinese infiltration.

With Paltan JP Dutta is returning to direction after a 12-year long gap. The national-award-winning director had earlier treated the audience with war films like Border, LOC Kargil, and Refugee among others.

Presented by Zee Studios and produced by JP Dutta Films, the flick is slated to hit the silver screen on September 7.
