Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s forthcoming film, That Girl in Yellow Boots, is going to be his first world wide release, which is set to hit the theatres on September 2.
“None of my films had been released internationally - be it Black Friday or Dev D,” said Kashyap, criticising Indian distributors and terming them inefficient as they “repeatedly failed or deliberately didn’t make international releases of any of his films even after owning overseas rights, just assuming there is no market.”
