Filmmaker Shirish Kunder skipped the music launch of Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, his wife Farah Khan’s debut film as an actor. Sources say the reason was obsvious — the chief guest at the event was actor Shah Rukh Khan, who had an ugly slap-fight with Shirish not so long ago.

While SRK danced on stage with Farah and co-star Boman Irani and released the third poster of the movie, inspired by his film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Shirish sent out a tweet that many saw as a dig — “These days, there is more focus on making noise than making films.” While Shirish later tweeted that his random thought was misconstrued, a source present at the event said, “Clearly, Shirish stayed away because Shah Rukh was there.”
