Haseena first look: Shraddha Kapoor plays Dawood Ibrahim’s sister in gritty drama

The first look of Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming film Haseena is out now. She is playing Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, Haseena Parkar, in the film. It will also feature Sharman Joshi and Siddhanth Kapoor in important roles.

Looks like Shraddha Kapoor’s wants to change her happy-go-lucky image in Bollywood. If the first poster of her upcoming film Haseena is any indication, she wants to be taken seriously as an actor in the industry. Shraddha shared the poster on her Instagram on Monday.

Shraddha Kapoor’s Haseena is scheduled to hit the screens on April 11, 2017.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Haseena is the story of dreaded underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, Haseena Parkar. Interestingly, her real life brother, Siddhanth Kumar, plays her reel life brother Dawood in the film. The film will also feature Sharman Joshi in an important role.

The shooting for the film began in Mumbai in October, 2016.

So far, Shraddha Kapoor has mostly featured in romantic roles with OK Jaanu, with Aditya Roy Kapur, being her latest.

Haseena will hit the screens on April 11, 2017.
