Shahzahn was accompanied by her mother Sharon Prabhakar, who refused to leave her alone, even on the following day when they were spotted at the Universal theme park on the island. On the other hand, Riteish Deshmukh had wife Genelia D’Souza, who’s glued to him 24x7 these days, for company. Brothers Randhir and Rishi Kapoor also made it to the do.

The premiere was held at a massive auditorium situated within the swanky Sentosa Resort. All guests were ferried in chauffeur driven cars from the hotel to the premiere’s venue, where a red carpet welcomed them. Local Singaporeans joined the mostly NRI crowd at the do, which kicked off according to Bollywood Standard Time (two-and-a-half hours behind schedule). Stars of the film also spoke on a makeshift stage on the red carpet. At the pre-party that followed, every guest was handed a box of popcorn and cola.

Before the screening, Sajid (Khan) spoke about how the film was made keeping in mind only the audience and not reviewers. He called on stage the entire cast, producers and composers Sajid-Wajid, who sang lines from one of their songs. To everybody’s surprise and loud cheers, Akshay rode piggyback on John. Nadiadwala’s son, Subhaan was also introduced to the audience.

Interestingly, none of cast members watched the film with the audience. They preferred chilling out at an adjoining casino.
