Housefull 4 actor Kirti Kharbanda: I don’t think Farah Khan is a hard task master

Actor Kriti Kharbanda doesn’t shy away from admitting that Housefull 4 is one of the biggest films that she has ever been a part of.

Actor Kriti Kharbanda can’t stop thanking her stars for getting a chance to be part of a popular film franchise like Housefull. “It’s quite a happy space to be in. More than a film set and doing your job as an actor, the vibe on the set is so energetic and welcoming that I really look forward to be on the set every time we pack up,” she says.

Actor Kriti Kharbanda recently shot for a song sequence, choreographer but Farah Khan, along with actors Pooja Hegde and Kriti Sanon for Housefull 4.

The actor admits that Housefull 4 is one of the biggest films she has been a part of. “It’s a hugely popular franchise and every Housefull film has worked well at the box office. It’s a good feeling to be part of a movie, which is a highly anticipated, similar to my other film, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se,” says Kriti, who co-stars with Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh,Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde in the film.

“It’s such a good feeling to share screen space with the actors you’ve always looked up to,” adds Kriti, who has earlier done films such as Raaz: Reboot and Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana besides regional films down south.

Kriti recently shot for a song sequence that was choreographed by Farah Khan and she admits that it was nothing but a “dream come true”. “She [Farah] is always brimming with confidence and positivity. We just shot a full-on-energy song and the experience was surreal. From taking orders from Farah ma’am to indulging into lot of masti on the set, it was such a fun and interesting experience.”

Asked if Farah is a hard taskmaster or if she takes it easy with her actors, Kriti says, “I don’t think she is a taskmaster. Her idea was to make the song look bigger, better and entertaining as compared to the other songs from the previous Housefull films. She doesn’t choreograph too many songs these days but the ones she works on turns out to be massive hits.”

When asked if she got stuck with any particular step and gave multiple retakes, Kriti tells us, “I was slightly nervous when we were actually rehearsing for the song because the idea was to get the steps right as suggested by Farah ma’am.”
