In a new video to emerge from the Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta wedding in Mumbai, Karan Johar, Hardik Pandya, Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai can be seen dancing together.
On Saturday, India witnessed the star-studded wedding of industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash with Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamantaire Russel Mehta. The event was attended by almost all the biggest names in Bollywood.
It was a crowded affair at the Jio World Centre with a galaxy of Bollywood stars in attendance. It included names like Amitabh Bachchan who came with wife Jaya and daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Shah Rukh Khan who came with wife Gauri Khan, Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao, Kareena Kapoor Khan and sister Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who came with husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya, Priyanka Chopra Jonas who attended the function with mother Dr Madhu Chopra and brother Siddharth, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Rajinikanth and family to name a few.
Now, new videos and pictures from the mega functions have started to appear online. In one such video, Karan (in a bright yellow sherwani and sun glasses) can be seen dancing to the beats of the drum with cricketer Hardik Pandya. Dancing alongside him is Nita Ambani, the groom’s mother. In the background, we can also see Priyanka and Aishwarya dancing away to glory.
In other videos, Shah Rukh and Ranbir dance with the groom Akash before the wedding.
Apart from Bollywood stars, the big Ambani wedding saw stars from cricket, business, politics and global leaders attend the do too.
Google chief executive Sundar Pichai, veteran industrialists Ratan Tata and N Chandrasekaran, and global chief executives of the Bank of America, Samsung and JP Morgan represented the business fraternity.
Cricketers Zaheer Khan with wife Sagarika Ghatge, Harbhajan Singh with wife actor Geeta Basra and daughter, Sachin Tendulkar with wife Anjali among others were seen posing for photographers at the wedding.
Many politicians too made it to the function. These included HD Deve Gowda, former British PM Tony Blair and his wife Cherie and former UN secretary general Ban Ki Moon too were seen at Ambani wedding in Mumbai.
