Only Salman Khan can beat Salman Khan at the box office, but it is not an easy feat to achieve every time. His latest Sultan has opened big at the ticket window, but is that enough for a Bhai film?

Salman’s last three films, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, jostled closely with each other to become the biggest hit of his career. While Kick raked in Rs 231.85 crore at the domestic box office, PRDP garnered Rs 225.88 crore. However, Bajrangi Bhaijaan emerged as the clear winner with an unmatched final tally of Rs 320.34 crore.

Now, with Sultan gathering Rs 36.54 crore on its first day, there is a good chance that it may continue to rain money at the box office over the weekend, becoming the biggest Salman Khan film till date.
