Actor Kiara Advani says she is not insecure of sharing screen space with another female actor.

Rubbishing reports of being upset with the makers of cricketer MS Dhoni biopic’s for chopping off her part in the film, actor Kiara Advani clarifies, “When I am doing a film, I obviously know everything about the film. So, if I had any of those reservations, I wouldn’t have signed the film in the first place. None of these rumours are true.”

Sometime back, there were reports that Kiara, who is playing Dhoni’s wife Sakshi in the biopic, had the second most important role in the film after Sushant Singh Rajput, but the makers decided to give Disha Patani, who portrays Dhoni’s ex-girlfriend Priyanka Jha who died in an accident in 2002, more preference . “When I heard the script, both the parts were narrated to me – Sakshi’s and Dhoni’s ex-girlfriend’s. So I was completely aware that there are going to be two girls in the film. It’s wrong to say that I am jealous or insecure of her,” says the 24-years-old actor, adding, “It’s such a beautiful story that it should be shared with the world.”

Actor Disha Patani is portraying the role of MS Dhoni’s ex girlfriend in his biopic.

Many might feel that starring in a side role a biopic being made on a single person’s life; the actor doesn’t get their dues but Kiara has no such hang-ups. “I didn’t really think about how much screen space will be given to my role. I just wanted to work with a director of Neeraj Pandey’s caliber. It was an opportunity that I had to take irrespective of the role offered to me, as I knew he would bring out the best in me.”

Kiara feels blessed that she could make a place in Bollywood after her fair share of struggle. “Everyone is here to make their own journey and I feel lucky to be one of them. I gave a screen test, auditions and got it on my own merit. It is the best feeling than anyone having to recommend you,” she quips.
