Iulia Vantur to play a Polish Krishna devotee in India in her Bollywood debut movie

Iulia Vantur has landed her first Bollywood film with director Prem Soni, who had directed Salman Khan’s Main Aur Mrs Khanna in the past. She will be seen as a Krishna bhakt in the film.

Salman Khan’s rumoured girlfriend, Iulia Vantur has reportedly landed her debut Hindi movie. The up and coming actor will be seen as a Polish Krishna bhakt (devotee) in India in director Prem Soni’s next.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the film will be shot in Delhi, Mathura and Poland. “She falls in love with the country and becomes a Krishna bhakt. The team had been looking for a foreigner who can speak Hindi but not too well for months. Iulia was approached recently ,” a source told the daily. The yet untitled film will also star Jimmy Shergill in an important role.

Director Prem Soni has previously directed Salman, Kareena Kapoor and Sohail Khan in Main Aur Mrs Khanna and Priety Zinta in Ishq In Paris. Both the films failed to do well at the box office.

Iulia’s last project was Salman’s Race 3 in which she gave her voice to the song, Selfish. She also released a song with Maniesh Paul, Harjai.

Speaking about her relationship with Salman, she had earlier said: “I never talk about [Salman Khan] because I usually keep my personal life for myself. I feel this is the only area one should keep sacred. Our work anyway gives us all the exposure, but what’s so intimate and private in your life, should be there only for you and your loved ones. That’s the reason I’ve not been speaking about it. There are things that are so precious that you want to protect them.”
