Janhvi Kapoor may be the next big thing in Bollywood and fashion designer Prabal Gurung has given his seal of approval to that thought. The popular designer met Janhvi on Wednesday and decreed her the one upcoming actor to look out for.

“Guess who stopped by the showroom? The Future!! Y’all remember this name #JanhviKapoor. Janhvi wish you all the happiness, joy and success. May you reach for the moon with your feet always on the ground. Rooting for you. With love xPG. #Bollywood,” he wrote on Twitter. Janhvi was also ecstatic about meeting him. “Felt like home meeting Prabal Gurung (can we please appreciate how cool I felt saying that),” she posted on her Instagram story.

Prabal is a Nepalese-American designer who is based in New York City. He is immensely popular among Hollywood stars and recently dressed Deepika Padukone, Diane Kruger, Eiza Gonzalez, Hailee Steinfeld and more at the Met Gala where he launched his bespoke atelier collection.

Janhvi, who is the elder daughter of Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and late actor Sridevi, is making her film debut under Karan Johar’s banner with Dhadak. She will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother, Ishaan Khatter. It will release on July 6.

Janhvi was still shooting for Dhadak when her mother Sridevi died due to accidental drowning in a Dubai hotel. Janhvi put up a brave face and was back to shoot the film within a few days.

Boney, Janhvi and her sister Khushi also recently accepted the National Award for Best Actress on their late mother’s behalf in New Delhi.
