Kareena Kapoor Khan takes time out to decorate her new home
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan will apparently be moving into their new home, early next year.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is expecting her first child, has been busy with the shoots for various brand commercials, films and fashion magazines. In October, she will begin working on her upcoming Bollywood movie with Sonam Kapoor. The rest of the movie will be shot after Kareena’s delivery in December. Besides work, the actor has also been taking time out to plan the interiors of her new house — four floors of a building in Bandra (W). Kareena and actor-husband Saif Ali Khan bought it three years ago.
A source close to Kareena says, “Though they purchased the house a few years ago, they continued staying in their old home, which is located 10 minutes away. They will shift into their second house early next year.”

In the meantime, Kareena is overlooking the styling of the house. “She meets her interior designer on a regular basis. She wants the new house to look classy,” says the source. Last year, Kareena was busy shooting for Ki & Ka and Udta Punjab, and didn’t get much time to work on the interiors. “But now, she makes it a point to visit the new house at least thrice a month. The new house will have a garden, a terrace and a big bookshelf, since Saif is an avid reader,” adds the source.
