Salman Khan has a way with ladies. Not only has the man dated some of the most beautiful women in Bollywood, he's managed to convince them to be part of his other ventures too.

Sallu's ex Katrina Kaif will soon be seen sizzling in an item number in Salman's upcoming Bodyguard. And all Sallu had to do is ask.

This item number will be played along with the opening credits of the film. Much to chagrin of leading lady Kareena Kapoor.

“When Salman asked Katrina to be a part of Bodyguard, she didn’t even blink before saying ‘yes’. But on hearing Salman’s grand plans for the item number Katrina got a little unsure," a source revealed to Mumbai Mirror.

"Salman’s brief was simple, an item song for the opening credits that would put Sheila to shame. Considering Kareena was the leading lady of the film, Katrina feared that this might not go down too well with her. However, when Kat told Salman about her cause of worry, he said that he’ll take care of Bebo,” continues the source.

Other Salman homies have been roped in for the song. Music will be brought to you by Himesh Reshammiya and Ganesh Acharya would choreograph Kat's moves.

The song is to be styled along the lines of none other than James Bond. So Katrina is being challenged to leave Sheila far behind and take on the stylish Bond girls.

“It’s a challenge for Katrina to take the item song beyond Sheila Ki Jawaani. She has already started preparing for it. She’s been watching the James Bond credit songs in Goldfinger, Octopussy and other Bond films to get an idea of the same,” the source added.

Kareena, who's long held the wish to work in single leading lady films, is incidentally not too happy about this item song intrusion.

But Katrina and Kareena in the same film is all the better for us.
