The first trailer for Hate Story 4, the latest in the series of erotic-romance-thrillers that began with 2012’s Hate Story, was released online on Saturday, and it’s exactly what you’d expect- romantic numbers in foreign countries, several shots of lovemaking on fine linen, even more shots of women emerging from swimming pools, and at least one moment of date rape.

But what’s unique about this 2:42 minute trailer is the sheer number of life lessons it tries to impart on its audience, mostly dealing with lips and dead bodies and Vikram Bhatt’s philosophies on life.

Here are the top 5 one-liners from the trailer:

“Kahaani bilkul zindagi ki tarha hoti hai, shuru hoti hai aakhir mein khatam hone ke liye, aur dono ke ant ka faisla shuruat mein hi tai hota hai. (Life is like a story, it starts so that it can end, and everything is decided at the beginning.)”

“Jab koi cheez itni priceless ho, toh usse mehfooz aur kareeb dono rakha jaata hai. (Such a priceless thing should be kept safe and close.)”

“Chor aur aashiq mein ek farq hota hai, chor churai hui cheez wapas nahi lautata, aur aashiq churaye hue dil ke badle apna dil chhod jaata hai. (There is only one difference between a thief and a lover, the thief never returns what he has stolen, and the lover steals hearts but leaves his own heart behind.)”

“Draupadi ke paanch Paandav they, yahan toh sirf do hain. (Draupadi had five Paandavs, I have just two.)”

“Lashein rishwat nahi leti, kyuki kafan ko jeb nahi hoti. (Dead bodies don’t demand bribes because shrouds don’t have pockets.)”

Hate Story 4 stars Karan Wahi, Urvashi Rautela, Vivan Bhatena and Gulshan Grover as a rightly concerned father. It’s scheduled for release on March 9.
