Loved Hrithik’s Krrish? Here’s how it was conceptualised in the shower

Actor Hrithik Roshan recently revealed how his dad Rakesh Roshan found the idea of a sequel to Koi Mil Gaya.

Actor Hrithik Roshan bulldozed his way into Bollywood’s big league with his debut film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. A few not-so-memorable films shook his A-lister position in the industry, but he found his mojo back with another blockbuster, Krrish. The film consolidated his position, and took him straight to the top.

Krrish was a sequel to 2003 film Koi Mil Gaya.

Hrithik recently revealed how his dad Rakesh Roshan thought of a sequel to Koi Mil Gaya.

DNA quotes Hrithik, “This is the genesis of Krrish, the first day! I remember, I was in my room and my dad has frantically climbed down the stairs and entered my room in his towel. He was just in the shower. He was in a towel saying that, ‘I have an idea of making a Koi Mil Gaya part two!’ And all this time we were looking for ideas to make as our next film and we kept coming up with things and saying, ‘No, it’s not good’. He came up with this idea. And he was in his towel and he came and narrated the whole idea. He always gets his ideas in the shower!”
