Mallika wants Banderas

A recent picture of Mallika Sherawat and Antonio Banderas dancing together, that surfaced on the Internet a couple of weeks ago, had set the rumour mills abuzz. Reports even suggested that it caused cracks in Banderas’s 15-year-long marriage with Melanie Griffith.

Now, there’s another twist in the Mallika-Antonio story. In her yet-to-release song,Apyy budday from Kismat Love Paisa Dilli (KLPD), the makers were keen to use lyrics that featured names of Hollywood stars like Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.

“But Mallika indirectly suggested that we could also include Antonio’s name as well. Everyone was surprised but it’s not confirmed whether Antonio’s name will be a part of the song or not. But Pitt and Depp’s names will surely find a mention in the lyrics,” says a member of the film’s marketing team. Besides Mallika, the song will also feature Vivek Oberoi.

Newcomers Amjad-Nadeem, the nephews of the music-director-duo Sajid-Wajid, have composed the song, which will be released on Thursday. While Mallika couldn’t be reached since she is in LA, producer Amit Chandrra and director Sanjay Khanduri refused to comment on the matter.
