Post the success of Raajneeti, Manoj Bajpayee has become choosy about film offers. A few months ago, he was offered Bullet Train and though he didn’t sign on the dotted line, he readily accepted the offer since it would be his first film with director Priyadarshan.

But buzz is that Bajpayee has now opted out because his role in the action thriller was confined to a control room.
Producer Ratan Jain of Venus confirmed the news: “Manoj was supposed to play a railway control room official but has backed out because he is doing another movie at the same time that needed a different look that he wouldn’t be able to change for our film.”

Bajpayee also admitted that he was not a part of the film that is supposedly inspired by Tony Scott’s 2009 film, The Taking Of Pelham 123 and Bajpayee’s role is inspired by Denzel Washington’s. Says Jain, “Boman Irani will play the role.” The part had also been offered to Paresh Rawal.
