Mouni Roy and Nawazuddin Siddiqui star in romance, Bole Chudiyan
Mouni Roy and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have come together for a romantic film, Bole Chudiyan. The film marks the directorial debut of Nawaz’s brother Shamas.
Mouni Roy, who made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar’s Gold and will soon be seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in Brahmastra, has bagged her fifth Hindi film - Bole Chudiyan opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Bole Chudiyan also marks the directorial debut of Nawaz’s brother Shamas.
Sharing the news on Twitter Nawazuddin wrote, “I am really excited to work with the very beautiful and talented @roymouni Hope to spread some fragrance of romance on screen #BoleChudiyan@woodpeckermovi1 @ShamasSiddiqui @zaverikiran9 #RajeshBhatia.”
Talking about the new project, Mouni told Bombay Times, “I cannot believe my fortune that I am getting to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. I am anxious about sharing the frame with him.He’s immensely talented and what I feel most assured about is that this will be a fantastic learning experience. I am eager to learn from him. I just hope I can justify the team’s faith in me.”
“Mouni has untapped talent. She believes in experimenting with her work, which makes me feel that she’s perfect for the character,” Nawaz added.

The actor who found fame with her TV series Naagin, has picked an interesting bouquet of roles in Bollywood. Akshay’s Gold was a period drama on a sportsman, Brahmastra is fantasy action film. She will also be seen in John Abraham’s thriller Romeo Akbar Walter and Rajkummar Rao’s comedy Made In China.
Nawazuddin, on the other hand, was last seen in the biopic Thackeray and is currently gearing up for the release of Photograph opposite Sanya Malhotra.
With a start-to-finish schedule, Bole Chudiyan will be shot from May to June and is slated for an October release.
