Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan managed to get some quick dance lessons from actor Madhuri Dixit and even praises from musician Bappi Lahiri for their latest song Tamma Tamma Again, but Saroj Khan, who choreographed the original from Thanedar is upset.
Tamma Tamma Again is one of the songs featured in Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, Alia and Varun’s next film.
DNA reported Saturday that Saroj Khan is unhappy with the new version of the song. She told the entertainment website, “Maybe they felt since my assistant Madhuri Dixit was there, they didn’t need me around. You have to ask them why I wasn’t invited. I don’t mind not being invited….The new version of any of my dance numbers have to be of some standard for them to invite me to watch it.”
“I haven’t seen the whole song. I’ve just seen the trailer. And I can’t comment. I worked hard because I needed to look after my children. Now my children don’t want me to work. They want me to rest at home. I am happy doing that,” she continued
Asked about Varun and Alia’s performances in the new version, Saroj told BollywoodHungama that Varun is a good dancer and she knew that he would be able to do the dance steps well. However, Saroj said she was not sure if Alia would be able to match up to Madhuri.
