Actors are often associated with certain mannerisms.

So, what "K-k-k-Kiran" is to Shah Rukh Khan, the expression "

Oh teri"

is to Aamir Khan’s on-screen persona.

It’s something Aamir has been heard saying at media gatherings to express surprise or shock, and has even found its way into the dialogue of characters he’s played.

Coincidentally enough, for producer Atul Agnihotri’s next, after considering several title options, the team finalised O Teri. When Salman heard the title, he apparently joked that the makers might need permission from Aamir for the same.

A source says, "When Salman heard the title, he said in jest, ‘Have you taken Aamir’s permission?’ He went on to say that he will call him and ask for permission. He said that the phrase would invariably be patented by him."

When contacted, Agnihotri confirms the news, saying, "

Oh teri

is an expression Aamir uses. When we shared the title with Salman, he jokingly asked if Aamir has given his permission."

The film’s trailer will be attached with Salman’s upcoming movie, Jai Ho, that has been directed by his brother Sohail Khan and will release this week.

And even though Salman and Aamir are known to share an excellent rapport, it remains to be seen how Aamir reacts to this title.
