Ranveer Singh may have been vacationing with girlfriend Deepika Padukone in the US recently but there was someone who he was missing desperately – his Aston Martin Rapid S. Among the first few things he did after returning to India – other than twerking on stage while promoting a brand – was go for a spin on his prized possession.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone returned from their US vacation earlier this week.

He shared a photo as he was at the wheel of the Rs 3.8 crore car, and also revealed that he has a name for her, it has to be her – Rampyari. Ranveer had gifted himself the car on his 32nd birthday.

Ranveer Singh is a true entertainer and whenever the actor is on stage, we expect fireworks. On Saturday, Ranveer took to the stage for a deodorant brand and decided to twerk. Wearing a blue suit, the actor gave serious competition to Miley Cyrus as he twerked on the stage. Videos of Ranveer’s spontaneous jig are taking the internet by storm. Deepika, meanwhile, had a carefree jig in the privacy of her home. The actor who is apparently very happy in a new black turtleneck shared a photo and video while wearing the sweater. Unfazed by the Indian heat and humidity, she appeared to be having a jolly good time.

At the launch, Ranveer said he wants to be a true entertainer. “It (love and support) keeps me motivating to do more and better work, honing my craft and trying to be the best actor and keep entertaining the public. That’s my true calling in life to be an entertainer and spread love. I love what I do and I do my best. I have collaborated with some of the finest filmmakers and made some memorable films and experiences. I have evolved over a period of time as an actor and as a person. I feel blessed.”

He also called Simmba his biggest film. “It is my biggest film and I am very excited about it. It is going to be a full on family entertainer and I want to be part of films like this in future.”

Calling director Rohit Shetty an amazing leader, Ranveer said there is so much to learn from him about filmmaking and connecting with mass audience.
