Actor Priyanka Chopra, who celebrated her 36th birthday amid close friends yesterday, got a lovely surprise when she got to know that her New York apartment has been festooned with bouquets — 11,000 to be precise.

Actor Priyanka Chopra recently bought a swanky apartment for herself in New York.

Her fans from around the world also sent her presents and handwritten letters. “Apart from 11,000 flower bouquets, she has received over 18,000 handwritten fan letters from across 25 countries… and we are still counting,” says a source.

The actor has also been actively associated with UNICEF as an ambassador, and often visits various parts of the world to encourage girl child education.

“Priyanka has also received a lot of love from her fans in Bangladesh. In her role as ambassador earlier this year, she met Syrian and Rohingya refugees despite a packed schedule. In 2017, she visited child victims of sexual violence in Zimbabwe, with her strong social voice making a huge impact at the Annual General Debate of the United Nations General Assembly...
