Ranveer Singh plays Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat.

Those who have already seen the song in cinema halls can ignore this, but if you haven’t already seen it then it’s your chance to witness the relationship between Ranveer Singh’s Alauddin Khilji and Jim Sarbh’s Malik Kafur in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.

The makers have now released the song Binte Dil, an ode to the love between Khilji and Kafur, on YouTube, and it’s as beautiful as it could get.

Arijit Singh is at his glorious best while voicing lyrics by AM Turaz. The song begins with Ranveer obsessing with his own charm. He looks at his shadow in the mirror and blows a kiss. He seems over-confident and in love with his slave, Kafur. He holds a fire-torch in his hand suggesting how he is burning from inside.

The song, composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, flaunts beautiful frames and also brings out the tyrant nature of Khilji. Kafur was his companion, but that doesn’t stop him from forcing himself on to a swoman.

The song deals with different dimensions of love, both straight and homosexual. Jim Sarbh tries his best to add tenderness to the love song and succeeds too.

Padmaavat is currently making a killing at the box office. It has already crossed the Rs 150 crore in the domestic market, and is likely to sustain the momentum for some more days.

Padmaavat also features Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in important roles.
