Since its launch on August 1, the Twitter world has been flooded with angry comments and jokes directed at the perfectionist for baring it all for a film.
In fact, two cases have also been in Kanpur and Indore against the movie's producers, director Rajkumar Hirani and Khan for obscenity. The case filed in Kanpur comes up for hearing on Thursday.
Now, the Khan has come out to defend himself. "When you watch the film, you will understand what it means. But the kind of writer and filmmaker that Raju (Hirani) is, he always gives out big and meaningful messages with his art. When you watch the film, you will realise this is key art," Aamir said recently.
"Jaise aapne Taare Zameen Par mein dekha hoga baccha aage bench pe baitha hai aur mai peeche hoon...yeh key art hota hai....ek tasveer mein poori kahani ke baare me baat karna, (You must have seen Taare Zameen Par poster where a kid is sitting on a bench and I am there in the background -- that is key art -- the art of talking about the complete story of a film through a single picture.)," Aamir added.

The poster, Aamir said, is "not at attempt at sensationalising". He added, "Ye humari taraf se koi sansanikhez poster nahi hai, yeh ek image film ki sarai cheezon ko sametta hai. Jab log film dekhenge to doubts door ho jaenge. (All doubts will be cleared once people watch the film)."
