A source close to the film reveals, that it came as a shock to everybody when Prabhu decided to say all the dialogues himself. He says, “Prabhu knows Hindi, but isn’t very well versed with it. Also, he has a strong south Indian accent. He was hesitant about doing this in the past, because of the same reason. But this time, he went ahead without inhibitions.”

When contacted, Rucha Pathak, senior creative director (studios), Disney UTV confirmed the news saying, “Yes, there is no dubbing for Prabhu in this film. He plays the character of a dance teacher from Chennai who battles all odds and dazzles the world with his vision, dance and philosophy. So his voice only adds to the USP of the film.”
