Randeep Hooda couldn’t be happier. With his kitty full with six film projects, the actor admits that besides riding on a huge wave of success, he is also a matured professional now as compared to his early days. “D (2005) got me fame, but I was young and stupid and couldn’t hold on to the success,” admits Randeep, adding, “Later, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (OUATIM, 2010) brought me recognition and I am glad that since then, projects have been raining.”

Currently, he’s working on Jannat 2, Jism 2, Shooter, Heroine, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster (SBAG 2), besides two untitled films. The actor admits that when he entered the industry, it was his dream to work with the Bhatts. He recalls, “I had gone to meet Bhatt saab (filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt) as a struggler and waited for him on the set all day. As he was busy, I couldn’t meet him. So, I was thrilled when Jannat 2 was offered to me. Working with him is an experience, as he is an intelligent man with talent for cinema.”

He adds that bagging Jism 2 was a surprise too. “That is rocker of a role. It came to me as a bonus, I feel, and I am glad to carry on my association with Vishesh Films.”

The actor is also forward to SBAG 2, which will go on the floors soon.

“I am working with Tigmanshu in SBAG 2. The plot will have the same essence, suspense and drama as the first one but I can’t shed much light on story yet. Tigmanshu is a brilliant writer and he has a great role in store for me.”

Ask him whether he will be a part of OUATIM 2 and he replies, “I’m clueless. I don’t think anyone from original cast is part of the film. I don’t even know the script of the film, so I can’t say if I am missing out on anything.”
